April 25-27, 2007 Event was a complete success!

The Champion's Club from Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) will be holding a meeting on Globalization from April 25-27, 2007 in Las Priedras, Puerto Rico.

AME:

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), founded in 1985, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cultivating understanding, analysis and exchange of productivity methods and their successful application in the pursuit of excellence.

Champion's Club:

The AME Champion's Club is exclusively for the "Champions of Excellence" within a plant or facility. Membership in the Champion's Club enables these agents of change to interact directly within a select group of individuals who shoulder similar responsibilities to improve their company's competitiveness and who approach that challenge with an equally high level of enthusiasm and insight. Champion's Club membership also enhances their company's commitment to the "Excellence" process, while creating a broader alliance of companies with AME.   For additional information about the AME's Champion's Club please contact:  Patrick Carguello Director, AME's Champion's Club Office: (315) 387-5611

Meeting agenda:

The Impact of Globalization on Business was the number two issue on the “top ten hot issues” for Champions this year. This program will provide a forum to focus in on this very relevant issue confronting us today. There is a panel discussion on the program. Come and bring along your “tough to answer problems”. There will be presentations from some “globetrotting presenters” who have experience in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Plant Tours:

The two plant tours will be among the best the Champions have seen in recent years:

  • Schering-Plough Products, LLC, Las Piedras
  • General Electric, Vega Alta
